CUSTOM & IMPORT TAX
1. Who is responsible for paying duties and taxes for international shipments?
For orders, the recipient (recipient) of the package is responsible for paying any duties and import taxes upon delivery. Duties and taxes are not calculated or charged when you place your order; you will pay them to customs upon receipt.
2. How much import duty do I need to pay?
This depends on the customs policy of your country.
For packages shipped by airmail (see our Shipping Policies), we typically declare the invoice value as $10 and mark it as a gift. This typically prevents your package from being charged high import duties by customs, but this depends on your country's customs policy.
For packages shipped by express delivery services (such as DHL, UPS, EMS, and TNT), the amount of import duty varies due to different customs policies.
3. How can we reduce your import taxes?
If you have any specific requests regarding the invoice value, please contact us at service@willowtoy.com. We will address your request. If you do not specify a specific invoice value, we typically declare a merchandise value ranging from US$20 to US$200, depending on the weight and volume of the package.
4. What if your package encounters customs clearance issues?
If you encounter customs clearance issues, we will provide you with a freight invoice to submit to customs. We will also contact DHL China to assist you in resolving these issues.
